All of us use a lot of energy everyday – for transportation, manufacturing, heating and cooling of homes businesses, lighting, cooking, and entertainment.  Currently Americans consume 25% of the worlds energy and as we continue to grow so will this percentage. Over the last several years, the cost of all forms of energy for all Americans has skyrocketed.  There are many drivers for this – increased demand and limited supply in a rapidly growing world, concern about the environment, and well intentioned but often misguided government policies are just a few of them.
